What is Predictive Analytics?

Predictive Analytics is the process of analyzing current and historical customer behavior (for example, which customers bought and didn’t buy your latest product) and then predicting customer behavior in the future (for example, which new customers are most likely to buy that product). Machine learning and artificial intelligence, directed by skilled data scientists and programmers, allow Versium’s predictive analytics to be automated, giving you the results of months of data integration and analysis in a matter of hours.

What is LifeData®?

LifeData® is Versium’s proprietary repository of data — all data that we source and own. It contains over a trillion business and consumer attributes, including both online and offline behavioral data, social-graphic details, real-time event-based data, purchase interests, financial information, activities & skills, and demographics, and more. Versium matches and enriches this data with yours, powering our predictive modeling and targeting services, and giving you a true understanding of your customers. It’s what makes your data (or your customer’s data if you’re a marketing agency) more powerful.

What is Predictive Modeling?

Predictive modeling analyzes the characteristics of business or consumer leads to find what characteristics (or signals) correlate with desired behaviors (such as purchasing your product), and then creates and tests a statistical model to assess the probability of future behaviors and outcomes. The model is then used to predict, with a high degree of accuracy, which new customers are most likely to have the same behavior (such as buy your product).

Versium Predict builds predictive models using machine learning algorithms, trained with your customer combined with business and consumer attributes from Versium’s LifeData® warehouse.

How does Data Science help me as a marketer?

Data science is a way to get actionable insights from your data, and those actionable insights help you succeed as a marketer. Figure out how your customers segment and cluster, as well as how to target the ones that are most likely to convert, easily and affordably with Versium’s cutting-edge machine learning and data science tools, that take the guesswork — and the legwork — out of data science.

What does AI have to do with marketing?

AI in this case means Artificial intelligence, which you might not immediately think has anything to do with marketing. However, it’s the underlying tool that makes marketing better possible. With AI, you can clean, analyze, and model with your customer data faster, more accurately, and to a level of detail not possible even with the best analysts and data scientists, all at a much lower cost. It’s what makes predictive analytics possible for small companies, and what makes it affordable for big companies.

How does Versium use Predictive Analytics?
Versium uses Predictive Analytics across their product lines to match, enrich, and clean your customer data, which then can be used to create predictive models that can improve your marketing ROI. Our automated Predictive Analytics provide quick, affordable access to:
  • Improve the quality and usability of your data.
  • Provide deep insights on both businesses and consumers, with over 1 trillion attributes for a deeper understanding of your customers and prospects.
